My name is Guru, I’m a 3D artist from Mumbai with a strong experience in the CG/ VFX Industry for 15+ years. Having worked in multiple roles as a Generalist, Modeler, Texturer and Look Dev and also have been in charge of the design, mood and timeline of various projects as a CG Supe. My large scope of expertise helps me deal with both artistic and tech people, to bring out the best in them.

 I'm passionate about all forms of art, it doesn’t matter if it’s graphics, traditional art, 3D/ 2D, Animation or Photography. I simply love art. And this passion has always motivated me to keep pushing my limits and always keep improving my skill set and knowledge as an artist.

 One of the most important things that I’ve learned in all my years of experience in the industry is that “everyone has something to learn, everyone has something to teach”. This simple sentence works like a mantra for me, it helps me to be more professional and respectful with my teammates and have appreciation for teamwork.

 I’m a self-taught artist – every skill that I have was developed studying by myself and from my extensive industry experience right from being a graphic artist to a CG Supervisor. I’m responsive, strong-minded, dedicated to my work and most important: I’m adaptive. Learning new tools, pipelines, workflows or techniques is never a problem for me. Everything new to me I face as a challenge, so when I learn something, I try to apply it to my work immediately, master it and evolve it.
